With Christmas looming, I was thinking of getting a machine for my workshop. (It's probably too late now but maybe I'll get a bargain in the New Year!)
As a relative newcomer to furniture making, has anyone got any feelings about which would be the first machine worth investing in? _________________ Jane Robertson |

Hi Jane,
You've possibly already treated yourself by now but, if not, I would recommend either a portable belt sander (that was the first machine I bought) or a floor standing pillar drill.
These are both very useful for furniture makers and you won't regret buying them! _________________ Wood-Mag
