Casa Lethenty Chair - Frame Components
'A largely rectilinear frame in ash, with simple M&T joints - shouldn't take long', I thought. Maybe I work slowly but it took a while, especially when I decided to curve the armrail, leading to angled M&Ts on a curved component. One of these joints failed once glued up, so I had to cut the armrail off, make a new one and reattach it using construction dowels. The curve on the lower rocker was done later on the bandsaw once the frame was constructed.
